Jobiqo offers 4 different application options.
1. Forward applicants to your company's aplication system
As for the external application system, users will directly apply on an external website. Usually, the application form from the employer's website or a third-party form is linked.
Once a candidate clicks on the "Apply" button on a job detail page, a second browser tab with the external link opens up.
Notes:
- The job application form (e.g. the number of required fields or the responsiveness of the website) and thus the user experience will impact the job application rate.
- Thus, please keep in mind that we cannot track any "job apply complete" events in Google Analytics for any jobs with this option.
2. Use built-in application system
Jobiqo offers the option to use the built-in application system. In this case, employers will be notified via email and are able to access the application and CV directly in the Jobiqo interface.
3.Use built-in Quick Apply system
If the recruiters opt-in for having the Quick Apply option then they can configure which information is required on the application:
- Basic information
- Qualifying questions
- File uploads
Only the steps that the recruiter chose for the application funnel are displayed. Once all steps are completed, a page to review and if needed edit the information is shown. Upon saving, the applicant sees a success page.
Step 1 - Basic information
In this step, the applicant is asked for basic information such as name, email address and phone number. In case of a registered applicant, this information is prefilled from the profile.
Saving this step already submits an application to the recruiter (email will be sent).
Step 2 - Qualifying questions
In this step, all qualifying questions that the recruiter has created are shown (mandatory/optional). Answering and saving this step sends an additional email to the recruiter.
Step 3 - Cover Letter & CV
In this step, the applicant can provide a cover letter - the Jobiqo default cover letter text is also provided. Additionally, the applicant can upload one or more documents to the application.
Answering and saving this step sends an additional email to the recruiter.
Step 4 - Review information
In this step, the applicant is able to review the information and make edits to individual sections if needed. Editing an answer and subsequently saving it triggers an email to the recruiter.
Step 5 - Success
Once the full application funnel has been completed by the applicant, a success page is shown. This success page also includes a link to see similar jobs - clicking on this will perform a job search using the first location and occupational field of the job the applicant has just applied to.
The applications are saved within the system and can directly be accessed in the Jobiqo interface by any registered recruiter who has access to this job.
Please note that the Quick Apply option is only available for organically created jobs (therefore not for imported jobs).
4. No application system
In this case, the "Apply" button on the job detail page is not activated at all. This option can be used in case no application URL or email is available (e.g. for imported jobs) or if the preferred application channel is by post, by phone or in person.
Please keep in mind:
- If this option is used, the preferred application option should be always stated in the job description, otherwise, candidates cannot apply.
- This option is always an available alternative in the backend. If the option should be activated for recruiters in the frontend, please reach out to your point of contact at Jobiqo.
- Jobiqo cannot track any job apply events in Google Analytics for any jobs with this option.
