What is a Minisite?
A Minisite turns an organization's profile into a standalone, branded career site instead of a standard one-page company profile. It uses a dedicated layout with a cover image, hides the job board's main top menu, and gives the organization its own navigation.
How does a Minisite look like?
Minisite is the organization's own hub within the job board: a self-contained space that feels like stepping into that company's world rather than browsing a shared platform. Every Minisite comes with three built-in elements:
- Home page: the profile page the recruiter can adapt in self-service, using the same sections already available on the organization profile
- Job search page scoped only to that organization's jobs
- Configurable navigation that site admins can manage
Home and Jobs pages are created automatically and are always pinned in the Minisite navigation, so they cannot be removed while the subscription is active. Beyond these two, site admins can add further landing pages, giving the organization room to go beyond the profile and tell a fuller story about who the organization is as an employer.
Visually, the job board's main top menu is hidden by default on every Minisite page, so the Minisite truly feels like the organization's own space; the one exception is the job board’s footer, which stays visible.
Why offer Minisites on your job board?
A Minisite delivers a premium, polished presence without the cost of building a separate website. It is sold as an additional module with its own subscription type, separate from standard organization profiles. This means site admins can:
- Price and sell it as a premium add-on tier above standard premium profiles
- Generate additional recurring revenue for every Minisite activated
What's in it for the client (the organization)?
- Branded look and feel: cover image, hidden top navigation, and a dedicated menu make it feel like the organization's own site, not a shared job board profile
- Focused candidate journey: visitors only see that organization's jobs, with no competing employers shown in search results, and job details open right within the Minisite's split-screen view so candidates never leave the branded experience
- Built-in job search: candidates can search and view job details without leaving the Minisite
- SEO value: every extra landing page (About Us, Culture, Benefits, etc.) is unique, indexable content tied to the organization's branded URL, strengthening employer branding and organic reach over time
- No duplicate-content risk: job pages within the Minisite carry a canonical tag pointing back to the original job listing, so search engines know which version is authoritative
- Separate performance tracking: job views are tracked in their own Looker Studio's Minisite view and shows Minisite-specific applications — helping site-admins prove subscription value and spot high-performing clients
Is Minisite available by default?
No. Minisite is an add-on module, and the development team needs to implement it on your job board first. Once activated, a new Minisite subscription type becomes available in the backend. Assigning this subscription to an organization automatically switches their profile to the Minisite layout, with two default tabs: Home and Jobs.
