The following release notes cover recent changes from the past 14 days and provide an outlook for the upcoming release.
✨Focus topics of this release
The following milestones were achieved:
New Stuff | |
---|---|
Resume Search | Setting to make full resume visible for recruiters after contact request sent without applicant approval (contact request credit) | In order to make working with resumes more flexible, we introduced a configuration for the site that allows recruiters using CV/Resume contact credits to gain access to CVs/Resumes without an additional approval needed by the applicant. |
Improvements | |
UI component library interaction improvements |
In order to improve the user experience for all users visiting the front-end part of our sites, we implemented additional interactivity/animation improvements to the following user interface components:
|
Backend | Add column / filter for external Job ID in backend |
When jobs were being imported from external sources, they often contained IDs that were used in various ways. In order to extend the usage of these already existing IDs we added a new column and a filtering option in the back-end for Jobs, for the "external ID". |
Commerce | Anonymous checkout workflow |
When anonymous (not logged in) users accessed the commerce product checkout, they could get to the first step but then would be redirected to a login screen. In order to improve the workflow we now immediately take the anonymous user to the login screen, essentially not allowing any access to the commerce product checkout without being logged in. |
Job | Content changes overwritten |
When two users were editing a job posting simultaneously and one saved the changes before the other, the last user would loose all of the changes they were trying to make to a job posting. We have now introduced a so called "Content-Lock" system, which alerts users in the back-end that someone else is already editing a job posting with the possibility to break the lock if needed. |
Bug Fixes | |

Menus | Font of menu item with child items looks different |
Last release we introduced some changes to drop-down menus and this caused issues with parent and child items having different fonts. The fonts are now the same for all menu items. |

Improvement | UI component library interaction improvements |

|
Improvement | Backend | Add column / filter for external Job ID in backend |
When jobs were being imported from external sources, they often contained IDs that were used in various ways. In order to extend the usage of these already existing IDs we added a new column and a filtering option in the back-end for Jobs, for the "external ID". |
Improvement | Job Import | Job Upgrades expiration |
When re-importing jobs from external sources, we sometimes faced issues with wrong expiration dates for job upgrades for already existing imported jobs. We have now tackled the situation properly and re-importing jobs no longer causes any issues with job upgrades. |
Improvement | Commerce | Anonymous checkout workflow |
When anonymous (not logged in) users accessed the commerce product checkout, they could get to the first step but then would be redirected to a login screen. In order to improve the workflow we now immediately take the anonymous user to the login screen, essentially not allowing any access to the commerce product checkout without being logged in. |
Improvement | Organisation Profile | Remove "Subscriptions (Basic/Premium)" and "Promoted on front page" from company in Admin back-end |
In the past we changed ways how we manage certain organization profile products/upgrades in the back-end. In order to stay consistent we did some cleaning up and removed already unusable, confusing fields from organization profiles. |
Improvement | Job | Content changes overwritten |
When two users were editing a job posting simultaneously and one saved the changes before the other, the last user would loose all of the changes they were trying to make to a job posting. We have now introduced a so called "Content-Lock" system, which alerts users in the back-end that someone else is already editing a job posting with the possibility to break the lock if needed. |
Improvement | Importer | Job unpublish threshold | We can define a job unpublish threshold in order to get notified if a bigger amount of jobs is unpublished. |
Bug Fix | Landing pages | Automatically open all external links in a new tab is broken |
By default, external links on landing pages should automatically open in a new tab. This was broken as the external links were opening in the same tab We fixed the issue and external links are being open in a new tab on landing pages. |
Bug Fix | Landing Page element "Stats with fading background" | text is cut off when window is minimized |
We faced an UI issue with a landing page element which was cutting off different content while in mobile view/low page width. This is now properly handled and no content is being cut off. |
Bug Fix | Can't remove the Location name on organization profile |
There was a bug where users could not remove the Location name on an organization/company profile. The issue is fixed and it works properly now. |
Bug Fix | Commerce | Subscription duration is reduced by 1 day after saving |
Whenever a new subscription product was setup and the commerce feature "subscription granting" was added, the subscription duration was subtracted always by a day after saving. This situation no longer happens and no unnecessary day subtraction happens. |
Bug Fix | Check-box | Mandatory asterisk is not displayed for all opt-in check-boxes |
We already support multiple check-boxes for terms & conditions policies/consent but we did not show an asterisk (meaning it is necessary to accept) for all of them. This is now tackled and it is possible to add asterisk for all check-boxes.

Bug Fix | Menus | Font of menu item with child items looks different |
Last release we introduced some changes to drop-down menus and this caused issues with parent and child items having different fonts. The fonts are now the same for all menu items. |
