The following release notes cover recent changes from the past 14 days and provide an outlook for the upcoming release.
The following milestones were achieved in the last 14 days.
New Stuff | |
---|---|
Disable job editing for imported jobs |
For imported jobs, the XML feed is considered as the source of truth. Therefore any changes applied manually by a recruiter were overwritten (as they do not have the option to disable job updates as site admins do). This is now prohibited and the recruiter is informed about this and can contact the job board owners in case changes are necessary. |
Date format improvements |
Both for the publication and expiration date, site admins now have the possibility to adapt the shown date format (e.g. instead of showing the exact date, "1 day ago" can be displayed). |
Improvements | |
User account creation via site admin |
The user account creation via a site admin (in the backend) has been improved. If the checkbox to inform new users is "OFF", then no email is sent at all. To come with the next release: If the checkbox to inform new users is "ON", then users receive a notification about their new account and can log in. This is combined with the usual welcome mail (so only 1 mail is sent). |
For a comprehensive list of recently implemented features, improvements, or bug fixes, please read the section "More Details".
🏁 Outlook (Release 14, 04.07.2023)
- Finalisation of the User account creation via the site admin workflow
- Show privacy policy checkbox on the contact form
- Split up of address into separate fields (needed for job exports)

New Stuff | Disable job editing for imported jobs |

Therefore any changes applied manually by a recruiter were overwritten (as they do not have the option to disable job updates as site admins do). This is now prohibited and the recruiter is informed about this and can contact the job board owners in case changes are necessary. Imported jobs can therefore not be edited or upgrades added in the recruiter frontend. |

Improvement | User account creation via site admin |
The user account creation via a site admin (in the backend) has been improved. If the checkbox to inform new users is "ON", then users receive a notification about their new account and can log in. This is combined with the usual welcome mail (so only 1 mail is sent). If the checkbox to inform new users is "OFF", then no email is sent at all. |
Improvement | Icons in the keyword and location search bar | An icon has been added to both the keyword and the location search bar (as this is UX standard). |
Improvement | Display of facet landing page block on mobile |
The behavior of the facet landing page block on mobile has been improved. Instead of multiple columns we now show one column with the different facets beneath each other. Only one facet can be expanded at the same time for ideal usability. Note: this is a new landing page element (Facet categories), so this needs to be replaced manually on your landing pages. |
Bug Fixes | Removal of spacing before landing page element "Featured Organizations" | A small space was present prior to the landing page element "Featured Organisation", which was visible if a different background colour had been selected. |
Bug Fixes | User profile picture on company profile not displayed | Newly uploaded user profile pictures (for contacts) were not displayed on the company profile. |
Bug Fixes | Spacing for date format | On the desktop view, unnecessary spacing was displayed in the date format section. |
Bug Fixes | Issue when searching for both keyword and specific location | If a user added both a keyword search text as well as a location, the location filter was not properly applied. |
