The following release notes cover recent changes from the 14 days, also providing an outlook for the upcoming release.
✨Focus topics of this release
The following milestones were achieved in the last few weeks.
New Stuff | |
"In Progress" state of applications | We improved the job application process by introducing a new "In Progress" state for applications that do not yet have all the mandatory fields that recruiters expect. This state is visible to recruiters and signals that the applicant has provided basic but not complete information. The state changes from "In Progress" to "Applied" once all required steps in the application are completed. |
The "What's New" section in the backend | We improved the backend dashboard by introducing a "What's New" section featuring links to the Product Roadmap, Helpdesk, and an option to contact us directly via email. |
Improvements | |
Application API | We improved the Applications API by introducing a "Get Application" call, enabling clients to fetch applications using IDs. |
Recruiter Performance Export | We improved the recruiter performance export. Users can export in CSV and EXCEL. |
Resume API | We improved the Resume API to include custom fields such as LinkedIn URL, Ethnicity, and Gender. Additionally, we enabled attachment views on the resume-list call for downloading resume files. |
Profile additional files indication | We improved the resume search window by introducing an indicator for resumes with additional files uploaded, enhancing their desirability. This feature applies to both locked and unlocked profiles. |
Simplify the recruiter card | We improved the presentation of organization cards to focus on essential details, reducing information overload. Changes were implemented on the Homepage's Featured Organizations module and the Organizations Page, where now only the cover, org logo, org name, city, and country are displayed. The organization's landing page remains unchanged. |
Resume List API | The updated API response now includes crucial details of the Resumes such as the ID, date created, and date updated. Additionally, we implemented pagination for the Resume List API, enhancing its efficiency and manageability. |
Top CV module Improvement | We improved the Top CV module, allowing clients with multifrontend setup to have separate Top CV accounts for frontends. |
Graduation Cap Icons | We replaced all Graduation Cap icons with a new, fitting Applicant Icon to comply with recent regulations against degree discrimination in the USA. This update affects the login page, applicant button, and any other pages where the icons were previously not editable via the backend. |
Company card | We improved the visibility and clarity of company cards by removing the Street address details, and focusing instead on displaying only the City, State, and Country. This update was implemented on both the Featured Companies and Company Search pages. |
GA and server-side tracking tests | We improved our analytics capabilities by including playwright testing. This involves sanity checks for events sent, ensuring dimensions are included with those events, and verifying server-side events do not transmit private data. |
