The following release notes cover recent changes from the 14 days, also providing an outlook for the upcoming release.
✨Focus topics of this release
The following milestones were achieved in the last few weeks.
Improvements | |
Update existing weekly data exports | We improved the weekly full data export by repositioning the column headers to the correct location in the first row. This adjustment ensured that the required fields are now included properly. |
Configuration for order confirmation email is reverted | We improved the configuration for order confirmation emails to ensure that they are non-revertable during deployments, thereby preventing site admins from receiving these emails. |
Backfill Importer | We improved the backfill importer to address issues retrieving jobs from the specified link. The implementation allowed for better handling of job feeds from external sources. |
Improved our Print to Online implementation | We improved the configuration of our Print to Online functionality to work seamlessly with various XML feed configurations. The implementation allows us to to fetch files that are protected by a password for secure access. |
Bug Fixes | |
Profile is not available and subscription is not taken over in the Organization search | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused some organization profiles to not appear in the organization search results, despite being published. Additionally, we fixed an issue that caused active "promoted organization profile" subscriptions to not work correctly in some very specific cases, preventing the profiles from being showcased on the front page. |
Indexing quota increasing fast | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused the indexing rate for the importers to dramatically increase from about 300 per day to 2,000, reaching the maximum quota limit. |
Stripe Webhook failing | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused the Stripe webhook to fail, impacting payment processing. |
Removing upgrades does not remove the upgrade in the frontend - caching issue | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused the highlight upgrade to remain visible on the frontend even after being removed from the backend. Users had to clear the backend cache for the changes to take effect, leading to inconsistencies in job displays, particularly when the "Delete this job upgrade from the system" option was selected. This bug has now been resolved to ensure that removals are reflected immediately without the need for cache clearing. |
Feed Issue - Redirect Link | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused error messages when importing feeds, specifically a `400 Bad Request` response due to a missing "Accept-Encoding" header. This issue previously affected the functionality of the feed link provided, which was not working as intended. |
Some products are showing in the /Checkout even if they are not published | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused unpublished products to be displayed in the checkout workflow, despite being set to not be in self-service. |
Irrelevant results in search results | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused the location search to display irrelevant results when filtering by specific counties such as Leicestershire and Warwickshire. The search filter was improperly returning distant locations instead of relevant matches. |
Maps not displayed properly in the Organization profile | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused the maps on organization profile pages to not load properly when clicking the profile's name. While the map space and location icon appeared, the streets and content were missing. This issue was resolved to ensure maps display fully on all organization profile pages. |
Background of highlighted jobs not showing | We fixed an issue that in some cases caused the highlighted background color not to appear in the job search for positions with the Highlight Job upgrade enabled, despite showing the "featured job" badge correctly. |
