Create Usercentrics setting ID and add it to your job board

Jobiqo adds the CMP javascript library directly into your jobboard’s source code.

It is automatically loaded with your individual settings ID.

Disable required scripts

All services/scripts used in your job board must intentionally be “broken”. This allows the Usercentrics script to re-enable them one by one once user consent is given. For disabling scripts, there are the following options:

1. If the script is set directly in the code, we will intentionally “break” it’s embedding.
2. Alternatively, the script can be included via Google Tag Manager, where we create a variable and trigger for it

Client /Jobiqo

We may migrate a script from direct code embedding (2a) to Google Tag Manager (2b) since this provides more flexibility for future changes. Before doing this we would of course align with you first.

As part of step 2 and 3a, we will help to identify services/scripts implemented by Jobiqo. However there may be further services, added by you / yourself or by your media agency (e.g. additional scripts via GTM or code snippets added as HTML page content). Usercentrics can easily be configured to ask for required consents, but adjusting Usercentrics and your own scripts is your responsibility and may add additional implementation costs.

Adjust Usercentrics

Your Usercentrics ID must be configured according to your needs:

1. Which services / scripts are running on your site?
2. Which of those you want to define as functional/mandatory and which are optional?
3. How should the consent banner / popup look like (styling, position, default visibility)

Add Service Descriptions (optional)

A tag is added to your Cookie Policy / Data Protection Statement page so that Usercentrics can automatically insert and update its contents.

For auto-inserting the service descriptions, the privacy policy page must be within Jobiqo (no external page).

Setup: Add your Data Controller information and add your site URL to the Domain Settings. In Language Settings, add the Editable and Visible language(s).

DPS Scanner: A Usercentrics feature which automatically helps identify 3rd party services on your site (see remark 1).

Data Processing Services (DPS): Add DPS either from the pre-existing service library maintained by UC or if your service is not found, add it as a Custom DPS (see remark 2). 

Categories: Each DPS can be added to 3 predefined categories (see remark 3):

Essential: Required core functions, site can’t run without these – Opt-out not possible

Functional: Important services, required to run important functions of the site – Opt-out possible

Marketing: Services not required, adds complementary features/functions – Opt-out possible 

Remark 1: Please view the next slide for a list of all default services in Jobiqo. Please inform your PM or CSM of any additional services that are required for your site. More details on how to use the DPS Scanner can be found here – the DPS scanner only provides a suggestion of the DPS configuration.

Remark 2: All information on a custom DPS needs to be manually added and maintained/updated by you.

Remark 3: More categories can be added or existing categories can be re-named, but we recommend following the default configuration.

Layout: Change the layout, different layers as well as the Privacy Trigger button.

Styling: Adapt the colours and fonts of the CMP.

Edit and add translations to the content of headers, messages and descriptions within the First Layer, Second Layer as well as Labels of buttons.

In account settings you can add additional team members. Access "account settings" by clicking the user icon in the top-right corner.

Data Layer and Events: In Data Layer Name please add ‘dataLayer’. In the Window Event Name please add ‘onConsentStatusChanged’.
