There are two ways on how you could post a job for an employer.
Before starting, ask yourself if an order should be created.
A) Yes, I definitely want to charge this job posting to my client (within Jobiqo)
In this case, we recommend using the “Masquerade” feature and to post the job in the frontend once logged in as an employer.

This way, you can definitely make sure the job will also be visible in the employer's “Job Manager” view, and that an order is created or that credits are automatically subtracted from the account.
If you later need to adapt the job posting from the admin’s perspective (e.g. change workflow state, extend the job duration), just go back to the backend and edit the job accordingly. Find more details in this article: "How can I edit a job?".
B) No, I don’t want to charge this job posting (within Jobiqo)
If you don’t want to trigger a new order or to automatically subtract credits from the account, or are okay to manually create an order outside of Jobiqo, you are advised to create the new job in the backend.
Here’s more information on the steps you need to follow:
- Go to the “Organisations” tab in the backend (Path: “Organisations” > “Manage Organisations”) and choose the organisation
- In the column "Operations", click the arrow next to "Edit" to display the options. Then select "Jobs"
- Select the tab “Direct jobs”
- Press the button “Create new job”
- Choose the job type (template, link, file)
- Insert information:
- Job Details: Insert at least the mandatory information (Title, description, job location, employment type, occupational field), but remember: The more, the merrier! ;)
- Upgrades: If the job should be upgraded, please add upgrades features. Please mind that the list offers single functionalities instead of the packages we defined in the backend in order to allow more flexibility.
- Publishing Options (right sidebar)
Choose the right publishing option (see "What are the job workflow states?"). - Publishing / Expiration Dates (right sidebar): The start date is by default today, and the expiration date is [Today] + [Job default duration]. You can freely change the dates in the backend or mask yourself as an employer in the frontend.
- Authoring Information (right sidebar): Make sure the authoring information is right (see "I need to reassign a job, how can I do that?").
Alternatively, you can also create new jobs when you are in the backend view of “Jobs”. From there, you only need to choose the job type (template, link, file) and insert the job information as described above. You should only make sure that the job is assigned to the organisation (see "I need to reassign a job, how can I do that?") and you may also want to reassign the authoring information to the employer user of the organisation.
Don’t forget that you can of course always edit the number of credits in the backend, too. Find more information in this article: "How do I change the number of credits assigned to an organisation?".
