While we recommend assigning jobs to existing organisations, it is not mandatory. If jobs are assigned to existing organisations and if the organisation profile is published, this has multiple implications:
- In the frontend, all jobs link to the company profile on the job teaser and detail page. These jobs are also visible on the company profile.
- If no job logo is provided in the XML feed, the company logo will be used from the existing organisation profile as a fallback.
- On jobs posted by template, some parts of the company profile are automatically transferred to the job detail page (if available)

If the job is mapped to an organisation, some parts of the company profile are automatically transferred to the template job.
Depending on your specific requirements, some of the mapping options may be more beneficial to you than others. We are happy to help you decide which method is most suitable for your importer:
1) Assign all jobs to a specific organisation
If you want to assign all jobs to one single organisation then please use the "organisation reference" field. All imported jobs will then be assigned to the specified organisation.
Select the organisation profile to assign to, if it's not existing, ensure to create the organisation first.

2) Mapping by organisation name
Mapping by organisation name is recommended if the mapping should be based on the organisation name or if mapping by organisation ID is not possible.
If an XML feed includes multiple variations of organisation names or child organisations the mapping may not work correctly. Therefore, the organisation name specified in the importer settings and the name provided in the feed should be the exact same.
In order to discuss possible options and additional settings, please reach out to your contact point at Jobiqo.
To activate the mapping based on the organisation name, please make sure to select the correct mapping source "organisation name" and click on save.

3) Mapping by organisation ID
This method is recommended if you want to easily identify related jobs and organisations using the unique ID as an identifier for each organisation. This approach is especially useful if the XML file contains multiple (child) organisations and you want to map them to the same company.
Jobiqo supports the use of either an internal (Jobiqo group ID) or an external ID as a source. Please decide if you would like to use the internal ID or the external ID. Also keep in mind:
- The internal ID relates to the Jobiqo group ID. To find the exact ID, download the CSV file in the organisation overview of the backend (/admin/jobiqo/organizations).
- Ensure to populate the external ID field of organisations by editing the basic information in the backend.
- To allow mapping, the ID needs to be provided for every job in the XML feed.
To activate the mapping based on the organisation name, please make sure to select the correct mapping source "organisation ID" and click on save.
Settings for "organisation ID" mapping
If you choose mapping based on organisation name or organisation ID, the system checks if there are organisations with the same name/ID during each important and assigns the jobs to them. If there are no matching organisations, the system imports the jobs without assigning them to an existing organisation. In this case, the organisation name will be shown as a free-text field.
