An imported job does not have any end date.
Why is there no end date for imported jobs?
In fact, the end date of an imported job is completely dependent on the job's availability in the feed. The job state is changed to the status "Unpublished" as soon as the job is removed from the feed.
In case the job is later added back to the XML feed, the importer will set the stage back to "Published".
I would like to edit the end date of an imported job. How can I do that?
If you would simply edit the end date of the job, the changes would be overwritten with the next import. Instead, please duplicate the existing job and archive the old one.
- Select the job that should be duplicated/cloned:
Please open the "Feed Items" view (Path: Backend > Jobs > Feeds > Click on Title of concerned importer > Click on tab "Items". Then, please select the job from the list and select the operation "Duplicate" from the menu. - Confirm the settings:
You will now see a confirmation modal. You can directly set a new expiration date for the duplicated job and optionally archive the original job. Once archived, an imported job will remain offline and will not receive any future updates from the feed any more. - Edit the new job:
Once confirmed by pressing the button "Clone" in the confirmation modal, a copy is generated. Feel free to edit any details of the job (e.g. job title, taxonomy fields, upgrades, workflow state, start and end date). As the duplicated job loses any connection to the XML feed, none of your changes will be overwritten with the fresh import.
